Holly's 1st Birthday

Holly turns one in a couple of weeks and we are planning a small birthday party for her and i need inspiration on baby party food, decorations etc. 

Any ideas??

I love these garlands by A Alicia Handmade Accessories but not in my price range at the moment. We are moving house soon so might treat myself to one as a housewarming present when we do but in the meantime I need a cheaper alternative, maybe in paper. 

Etsy update

I have added some new pieces to my etsy shop. I didn't have any sales from my last lot so decided it was time to remove them and try something else. I had a rummage about in my bead stash and these black and white beads appealed. 

I am determined to break into the etsy market but there is so much competition out there.

Her jewellery is beautiful, delicate leather flowers made into necklaces and hairclasps. An interesting blog too. 

Envirosax

I have just received a shipment from Australia of the Envirosax bags, they are all the rage in Australia and the States and I think they will be as big here. 

They retail at £5, I am selling them for £6 inc postage if anyone wants to order one.

Where does the time go?

I have not had much time to make jewellery lately. My days are taken up running after my dear daughter, who incidentally started crawling today. 

Luckily I have had a delivery of new stock this week so my " brick and mortar" shop is full of goodies and I will hopefully get my online shops updated in the next few weeks.

My ideal Spring wardrobe

I love plumo and have been waiting in anticipation the arrival of their Spring collection. My favourite is the Marilyn skirt. I love the colour palatte of these pieces and they have given me some inspiration for my jewellery. I am making some jewellery for the shop for Mothers Day so I think I will include some colour to these pieces.

I am working 4 days this week as both the girls who work for me are taking time off so hopefully I will get through quite a bit of work. I have not had a lot of time to make jewellery since Holly was born and I miss it. Here are a couple of pieces I have made recently.

Happy Birthday to me

This is my first ever post. I am quite excited about it. I started following a few blogs a couple of months ago and I am hooked so thought I would give it a go myself.  I am obviously behind the times as most of them seem to have been blogging for a few years at least, where have I been!!

It's my birthday tomorrow, Friday 13th, I'm not superstitious though and I love birthdays. My ideal day would be coffee and presents in bed, a leisurely morning pottering around the house with my daughter Holly and a long walk with her in the afternoon. Grant and I are going out for dinner in the evening, our second and well overdue night out together since she was born in May last year.
